Ever find white wines too homogeneous - all similarly crisp, refreshing, but boring? Why not break out of your usual Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to try something new?

Jura and Savoie - little-known, tiny regions in South East France - produce some of the most strikingly original white wines in the world. In this tasting led by the certified French wine scholar Michelle Lee, '14, we will explore the diverse offerings in the region, from the sparkling wine to traditional 'floral' wines to the iconic vin jaune ('yellow wine'), made by purposefully exposing the wine to oxygen to achieve the beautiful golden color and nutty, savory flavor. The ticket includes a glass of aperitif, 5 small glasses of white wine, cheese, and other nibbles.

To be hosted in a Central London apartment. Limited spots!
