The energy transition, aiming to decarbonise the economy, has already begun. The challenges are significant: to achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement a radical change in all sectors of the economy will be necessary, but it's within our current energy system where most of the greenhouse gases that cause climate change originate. This roundtable will examine the challenges facing the sector, the necessary structural change in our energy model and also in how people consume energy. Furthermore, how can we achieve the three fundamental pillars: Renewable Energy, Technology and Digitization, and Investment in Sustainable Ventures.
