If you’re considering or in the midst of a job transition, negotiating your new offer is a critical step to starting off on the right foot.

The GSB Recent Alumni Ambassadors and Career Management Center are partnering to host a session with Bill Thompson to discuss specific negotiation tactics before signing an offer.

The session will be followed by a Q&A.

About the Speaker

Bill Thompson is a career advisor at Stanford GSB where he has worked for 7 years. His advising approach is informed by his 30-year career as a marketing executive in the financial services and fintech industries including at Fidelity Investments, Financial Engines, and The Hartford. As with the companies served, Bill helps students and alumni discover, express, locate, and sustain “difference and relevance.” In addition to 1:1 advising, Bill teaches workshops on Storytelling and Negotiations.
