On Purpose is a new video-guided activity focused on helping you understand the science behind purpose and providing tools for amplifying intentionality in your life. These programs are hosted by alumni and happening in neighborhoods near you. Gather with a group of alumni and friends to learn how your values drive your decisions and how you can harness those decisions to live more purposefully. In a video-guided activity with Leah Weiss, '00, lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, you’ll gain practical tools and leave with strong Stanford connections in your local community.

Note: This is a video-based interactive session and Leah Weiss will not be in attendance.

Leah Weiss, ’00, is a researcher, lecturer, consultant, entrepreneur, and author. She teaches compassionate leadership at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she created the perennially-waitlisted course “Leading with Mindfulness and Compassion.” She is a principal teacher and a founding faculty member of Stanford’s Compassion Cultivation Program, conceived by the Dalai Lama. She co-founded Skylyte, a company which uses neuroscience and behavior change to empower leaders and prevent burnout. Her book, How We Work: Live Your Purpose, Reclaim Your Sanity, and Embrace the Daily Grind focuses on developing compassionate and soft skill-based leadership; it has been translated into 7 different languages. Her latest book is Bhavana: The Thai secrets of everyday resilience.
