Do you struggle with an inner monologue that defaults to a self-critical voice? Have you ever thought about how that voice prevents you and your teams from reaching their potential with energy and purpose?
Join Dr. Leah Weiss, a former lecturer at the Stanford Business School, co-founder of Skylyte, for an evening of introspection and empowerment.

We will cover...

(1) What is the science of self-compassion and how is it essential in the context of burnout prevention?
(2) What is burnout and how do we define and measure it?
(3) How can you help prevent burnout in yourself and your teams through self-compassion?

The talk will include the above overview, a 5-min mini self-assessment of burnout, and time for Q&A.

For the past seven years as a lecturer at the GSB, Dr. Weiss has focused her work on mindfulness and stress management. She is the author of two books, including How We Work. In more recent years she has honed in on the intersection between self-compassion with the problem of burnout in the workplace.
