The Museum of History And  Industry (MOHAI) invites the Stanford Graduate School of Business Alumni group to experience a rare, behind-the-scenes tour of both their Resource Center Collection and the Sophie Frye Bass Library in Georgetown (not the main South Lake Union museum). This tour will be guided by their knowledgeable Collections staff who are responsible for the conservation of over 4 million artifacts, both 2D and 3D, that reflect the robust history of our region.

Participants will check-in starting at 4pm and will be split into two groups for tours starting shortly thereafter. One group will head to the Sophie Frye Bass Library for a 30-minute guided tour of 2D collection while the other group heads to our main 3D collection. After time for Q&A, groups will then switch locations. Participants are encouraged to come prepared with questions and stories about their own connections to our region!

All participants will be briefed on special rules to follow prior to entering the collection. Taking photos inside the collection is strictly prohibited.

Please note: You must be 18 years old to attend.

Light refreshments will be served on the outdoor patio for the entire two hours.

SPECIAL NOTE TO THE MBA CLASS OF 2018

There is no cost for admits or deferred admits to register, but advance registration is required. For questions and to register, email alumni@gsb.stanford.edu.
